Every last Sunday of the month is our monthly matinee, Neutral Ground, at the Holland Project, 4th Street Coffee Bar or West Street Market depending on availability. All venues are all-ages spaces and all are invited. NG is a space for new bands to play their first gig, veteran bands to try out new material and traveling bands to get a taste of Reno! The Neutral Ground event has recently been awarded a Nevada Arts Council Grant for 2026! Neutral Ground will now be totally FREE until May 2026! Thank you so much Nevada Arts Council.

About
The Reno Punk Rock Flea Market is a 100% volunteer-run, community-supported non-profit that’s dedicated to amplifying the arts and music scene in Nevada through hosting public events like the Punk Rock Flea Market, educational workshops and providing a forum for creative self-expression. We’ve been producing community events since 2018 and have now expanded to several large events a year as well as a monthly all-ages matinee. Our goal for the next five years is to rent our own venue where we can facilitate even more all-ages events and provide a permanent space for all of our community members to collaborate & create. All donations go directly toward our events and community sponsorships.
Our flagship event is the Reno Punk Rock Flea Market. It’s an all-ages, DIY event. In 2022, we expanded to two Fleas a year! Our Fleas The Season Holiday Flea is in the Fall and our standard Flea is in the Spring.
The Flea is always all ages and kids under 12 are free! We have food trucks, activities, kids crafts, car smash and so much more!
Here’s a little bit more about the RPRFM event -
The Reno Punk Rock Flea Market is a weekend party with 10+ bands (local & traveling) and 60+ vendors who are artists, activists, non-profits and makers. We smash cars, make stuff, connect with like-minded folks, drink beer and have a pretty great time. Despite the constant loud music and car smashing, we are family-friendly! (If you’re the sort of family that likes punk rock and disrupting the status quo). We also have an interactive kiddo section complete with Drag Story Time with Vertigo!
Another fan favorite is our POSSUM PILE which is basically a gigantic free clothing swap section so bring all your old stuff and leave with something new.
We have several food trucks rocking out all weekend long and a bar for your drinking needs plus an ATM in case you’d like to get some books, art, zines, clothes, whatever from our awesome vendors.
Although we are a non-profit ourselves and all of our events are volunteer-run, we also donate a percentage of our Flea revenue to sponsor other non-profit events in our community. Thank you for supporting the Flea and showing everyone how rad Reno is!

2025 community feedback survey!
Every year we put out a community feedback survey to help us shape our next year of events! Your feedback helps us choose venues, event times, and future offerings. This year we’re doing a contest! One lucky person will get 4 free tickets to our spring Punk Rock Flea! Take the survey and be entered to win!
2024 Community Feedback Survey
Our 2024 community survey is here! Help us make our non-profit the best ever! With your feedback we’ll make changes to the Fleas and our programs to better serve our community!
Neutral Ground Grant
In January of 2024, Neutral Ground received an Equity Expansion Grant from the City of Reno that allows us to host three free Neutral Ground sessions from January - March 2024. We’re happy to use these funds to pay bands, offer free admission, hire a videographer and generally contribute to the Reno DIY art and music scene.
Our 2023 community feedback survey is now live! We would love your input so we can continue to evolve and grow! Fill out this simple survey here and help us shape the RPRFM non-profit!
RPRFM Non-Profit Announcement
As of March 2023, the Reno Punk Rock Flea Market is an independent non-profit 501c3 organization. We are no longer part of The Generator Inc maker space non-profit.
What does this mean?
In 2018, The Reno Punk Rock Flea was founded by Kadillac Kim and Jessi Sprocket as an annual fundraiser for The Generator. As the community and the RPRFM event grew a new dream was born: to become our own nonprofit organization, to do more events, and eventually purchase our own music and community venue. We are really excited that we have taken the next step to realize this dream by becoming our own non-profit with our original flea crew spearheading this move!
As an independent non-profit, the only funding we receive is through our events as well as donations and sponsorships directly to the Flea. The Punk Rock Prom in late March 2023 was our first fundraiser event as our own RPRFM non-profit. Financially we are starting back at square one with extremely limited funding but we know through the love of the Flea and your support we will grow and evolve and hopefully, one day realize our ultimate venue ownership goal.
Thanks for your continued support and know that we are working really hard to bring you the best possible events that give back to the community and showcase all of the incredible art and talent that Reno has to offer.
